Neste Khutbah, ele mencionou: \u201cJuro em nome de Allah! Aprendi mais de setenta Surates do Qur’\u00e1n Maj\u00edd directamente de Ra\u00e7ulullah (Sallall\u00e1hu alayhi wa sallam). Juro em nome de Allah que os Sah\u00e1bah (radhiyall\u00e1hu an’hum) sabem que sou dentre os que possuem mais conhecimento do Qur’\u00e1n. Ao mesmo tempo, n\u00e3o me considero o melhor deles.\u201d<\/p>\n
Segundo uma narrativa, Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas’ud (radhiyall\u00e1hu an’hu) tamb\u00e9m mencionou: “Se eu soubesse da exist\u00eancia de algu\u00e9m mais s\u00e1bio do que eu (em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao Qur’\u00e1n Maj\u00edd), eu teria viajado at\u00e9 ele para aprender esse conhecimento com ele.”<\/p>\n
Hazrat Shaqu\u00edq bin Salamah (Rahmatullaahi Alaihi) disse: “(Ap\u00f3s este Khutbah), fui e sentei-me nos ajuntamentos dos outros Sah\u00e1bah (radhiyall\u00e1hu an’hum) para ouvir o que eles diriam (sobre o Khutbah de Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas’ud (radhiyall\u00e1hu an’hu)). N\u00e3o ouvi nenhum deles a rejeitar ou refutar o que ele havia dito.”<\/p>\n
